The past 2 years have been incredible, where 2015 was the most defining year of my life, 2016 has been the most achieving year of my life so far. I have made incredible strides toward my life goals and couldn’t be happier with how the year ended out. Though I’m not a fan of New Year Resolutions, I love self-reflecting over the past year and everything that I have achieved.

The above aren’t all my pictures, just the ones I think paint the most words. Though 2016 hasn’t been the best year for the world, it’s been an incredible year for me. And though the influence most of us have with global matters is very little, we definitely have a lot more influence over our own goals and what actions we can take to reach them.
Just as a summary, here are the key things I accomplished:
- Travelled through 20 cities in 11 countries via 23 airports
- Made my first visit to Asia (Indonesia)
- Made a successful recovery from my ACL Reconstruction Surgery in October 2015
- Went to the gym at least 2 times every week all year
- Grew my beard for 6 weeks for the first time
- Registered with a GP in London 😂
- Made 1,367 contributions on GitHub (public and private repositories)
- Spoke at two universities outside of work: UCL and Warwick
Here is to 2017 and to further personal development. I’d love to hear from more of you about what your goals are and what you’re doing to achieve them - feel free to reach out!
